The Lotus is an active sit-to-stand aid designed for individuals who can still stand independently and have sufficient trunk stability, but are no longer able to walk or have difficulty walking. Once the client is seated on the Lotus, the caregiver can safely and efficiently transfer them.

The Lotus is intended for short transfers, such as from the bed to the toilet. Because the client sits in an active seated position, less effort is required to return to a standing position. This ensures optimal comfort for both the client and the caregiver.

The Lotus features swing-away seat panels, flexible lower leg supports, and a leg spreader. The leg spreader allows the Lotus to be positioned close to the client, enabling them to actively sit down on the device. The Lotus encourages the client to actively participate in transfers. This participation helps train the muscles and promotes independence.

The Lotus and Lotus XL are designed for users with an average height between 1.65 and 1.95 meters.
The Lotus Compact is designed for users with an average height between 1.35 and 1.65 meters.
