The Lotus is an active sit-to-stand aid for people who can still stand independently and have sufficient trunk stability, but can no longer walk or have difficulty walking. The caregiver can safely and efficiently transfer the client after he/she has taken a seat on the Lotus. The Lotus is intended for short transfers, for example from the bed to the toilet. Because the client takes a seat in an active sitting position, less force is needed to return to a standing position. Additionally, the surface is provided with an antibacterial coating that contributes to a hygienic care environment. For both the client and the caregiver, comfort is optimal. The Lotus is equipped with swing-away seat parts, flexible lower leg supports, and a leg spreading mechanism. The leg spreading ensures that the Lotus can be driven close to the client, allowing him/her to actively take a seat on the Lotus. The Lotus encourages the client to actively participate in transfers. This participation trains the muscles and thus promotes independence.

The Lotus and Lotus XL are designed for users with an average height between 1.65 and 1.95 m.
The Lotus Compact is designed for users with an average height between 1.35 and 1.65 m.
